Issac Azzopardi
Guitarist | Singer

Isaac’s journey with the guitar began at the age of five, inspired by playing his father’s classical guitar at home. Despite struggling to find a teacher at such a young age, he eventually started classical guitar lessons at six under Evan Plumpton and later also started learning electric guitar at eight with Marc Galea. His first public performance came at the age of seven. More recently, he began vocal training last summer, aiming to refine his voice to a professional level for the band.
Isaac is currently working towards his classical DipLCM Diploma and electric guitar ALCM Diploma while also preparing for his Music A-Level this summer. His musical influences span jazz, rock, blues, and funk, and he draws inspiration from guitar legends such as Slash, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Joe Satriani, Eddie Van Halen, Jimi Hendrix, Matteo Mancuso and a lot of others.
Within RELOAD MT, Isaac enjoys writing original music, trying out new covers, and performing live. Reflecting on the band’s journey, he notes how their second gig attracted a larger and more engaged crowd, while their performances at Wild Honey Valletta marked a significant milestone as their first paid gigs. Isaac notes how their performance at 97 NOTES' Music Wars competition helped boost the bands confidence since the crowd were cheering for the band throughout all of their songs. He also enjoyed speaking with the other bands (The Glades and Memphis Mac) since they had the same music taste. Isaac also finds their 3rd gig at Muddy Waters fun and enjoyable, being their first 2 hour set. Looking ahead, he hopes to help the band grow, secure larger gigs, and expand their original music catalog, which currently includes two completed songs. He also wishes to produce more content for their social media page.
Isaac is particularly excited for their new gigs including playing in Earth Garden 25' which could help boost their popularity and meet other bands.
